The Role

We're looking for a backend-heavy developer who's hands-on with Python and FastAPI. Not just familiar, but someone who's actually building and shipping with these tools right now.

You'll be joining a small, sharp team building scalable backend systems that connect to blockchain infrastructure and wallet integrations.

Location: Remote, Europe-based candidates only

This is a full-time, long-term position offered on a contract (B2B) basis

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services in Python (FastAPI)
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs that interact with blockchain networks and smart contracts (Web3.js, Ethers.js, etc.)
• Build and manage wallet integrations for authentication and transaction flows
• Collaborate closely with the front-end team to deliver smooth end-to-end user experiences
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis setups for speed and scalability
• Apply backend best practices for security, reliability, and performance

What You Bring to the Table

• Recent, hands-on experience building and deploying production services in Python and FastAPI (this is а core requirement)
• Strong command of SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Solid working knowledge of Redis (caching, queues, or data pipelines)
• Good understanding of API design, backend architecture, and database optimization
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (nice bonus)
• Based in Europe (MUST) for team collaboration and time zone alignment
